The 4th International Symposium on Atomistic and Multiscale Modeling of Mechanics and Multiphysics of Materials (ISAM4) will take place from August 5 – 8, 2019 at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.

This symposium aims at bringing together experts and early stage researchers from multiple disciplines to network, exchange and generate new ideas related (but not limited) to

tribology, fatigue and fracture
atomistic aspects of plasticity and failure
structure and properties of complex and disordered materials
biomaterials and polymers

as well as to discuss methods for extending the time scale in atomistic simulation and the application of machine learning and data science approaches to computational material science.
